PROJECT OVERVIEW

Since February 2025, 345 Projects has been engaged in the national Smart Gate rollout as part of Woolworths’ stock loss prevention program.
The initiative involves installing smart entry gates and sensors across over 150 stores nationwide, with works ranging from simple gate installs to complete front-end replacements in selected stores.

Installation of smart gates and entry sensors
Integration with existing store layouts and systems
Full front-end replacements at selected stores
Coordination with live store operations to minimise disruption

Key Outcomes

200+ stores delivered nationally
40 stores completed across Queensland between July and October 2025
(covering metro Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville, and Byron Bay)
Up to 10 stores delivered per week at peak program activity
Consistent quality and delivery within tight timeframes

Our Role

345 Projects provided end-to-end program delivery, managing all stages from PMO through to installation.
The PMO function covered design coordination, pre-checks, permitting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication, ensuring efficiency and compliance across multiple states.
Our national team successfully coordinated logistics, installation, and site works to deliver a seamless rollout while maintaining quality, safety, and live store operations.
